EHS Specialist – Piekary Slaskie

As an EHS Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Creating a safety culture, in driving awareness and accountability for EHS performance at all levels, and for ensuring compliance with all effective law regulations
  • Working in close collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and facilities to develop and implement sustainable EHS programs on site
  • Reviewing, evaluating and analyzing the work environment and design programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent injuries
  • Gathering data needed, prepare and review necessary environmental reports involves air emissions inventory, hazardous waste generation for submittal to regulatory agencies within required timeframe
  • Participating in industrial hygiene and safety projects with regards to OSHA and NFPA regulations
  • Conducting regular chemical inventory, facilitate local SDS and chemical compliance
  • Assisting EHS leaders with improving and maintaining the pollution prevention programs
  • Work closely with other departments in implementing environmental programs, which include training, documentation, sampling, inspections, and reports


  • 2 years’ experience in an EHS position
  • BS in Environmental Engineering
  • Proficiency Polish (B2 level as a minimum)
  • Good English skills (B1 as a minimum)
  • Very good knowledge of ISO 14000 standards
  • Team working ability
  • Hazardous Materials Transportation DOT, NH Hazardous Waste Coordinator Certificate OR RCRA Regulation certificates will be an asset.
